SACRA/PROFANA: Reinventing The Choir

Since its debut in Feburary 2009, SACRA/PROFANA has rapidly been gaining a reputation as an exciting new voice in American choral music. The San Diego-based ensemble is attracting audiences with its unique blend of classic & contemporary styles, and its focus on fun and adventurous programming. SACRA/PROFANA was founded by conductor Krishan Oberoi, a 2006 graduate of the Yale School of Music. With a dynamic roster of young singers, the organization is committed to providing a rewarding, entertaining concertgoing experience by presenting engaging programs of an eclectic variety of repertoire.
